According to Agony Hill, on the music scene, if you stop somewhere between rock and power pop, you’ll find them. Hailing from Corning NY, Agony Hill continues to amass fans along the East coast and beyond. A stage show mixed with explosive music, high-energy antics, and sarcastic wit & humor guarantees show goers a good time. Since releasing their debut CD in 2001 Agony Hill has emerged as one of the premiere club acts on the circuit today. They’ve shared stages with everyone from Drowning Pool to Gavin DeGraw and have played in front of Major Label execs at two Canadian Music Showcases including the NXNE Toronto. 2003’s “Just Add Alcohol” and 2005’s self-titled EP round out the band’s CD catalog - both of which spawned requested radio hits – “Just Add Alcohol” and “Enough”. The band is currently working on a full-length release and plans to shop it in hopes of inking a deal with a record label. One strongpoint of the band is the uniqueness of each member - each bringing different styles and influences into the mix. Incorporating a diverse catalog of said influences ultimately lands Agony Hill sounding like that of modern rock super-hero - Butch Walker. All in all, Agony Hill is an assiduous rock band with a sense of humor and humility, making music and having a great time doing so.
CDs to date. 2001’s “A.B.M.R.”, 2003’s “Just Add Alcohol”, and 2005’s “(Agony Hill EP)”. A new full-length CD is currently being worked on with Producer, Jeff DaBella (Autopilot Off) at Mansion Audio in Binghamton NY.
